A sculpture from Russia will soon hang from the Ga. 400 bridge over the Chattahoochee River.
“Sky Maintenance,” a gift of public art to Roswell from artist Dima Alekseyev, is to be suspended from the expressway bridge. The installation is to start at 8 a.m. Saturday and is expected to take all day.
Fabricated in Moscow and shipped to the U.S., the sculpture is one of 13 pieces featured in this year’s ArtAround Roswell sculpture tour of the Roswell Arts Fund. It comes to the area by way of the artist’s son, Feodor Alekseyev, who lives in Roswell.
